Singer Sona Mohapatra criticized judges of India Idol show

Singer Sona Mohapatra criticizes Sony TV and Indian Idol makers for considering Anu Malik to judge the upcoming season of the singing reality show. She expressed her disbelief in a series of tweets.

She wrote,

“This is the depraved man who rubs himself, threatens, drops his pants, forces someone’s head into his crotch & then repeats replay. This is the man @SonyTV @SonyTVUSA @sonytvuk hires back for the nth time on Indian Idol as a judge?”

उन्होंने भारत में युवा महिलाओं के साथ बलात्कार के मामले में सख्त कार्रवाई नहीं करने के लिए नरेंद्र मोदी सरकार की आलोचना की।

Calling out Vishal for co-operating with Anu, Sona wrote, “& since you do care about the pain of Indian women & girls, Vishal, take a real stand, stand up & walk your talk. Multiple women spoke up about Anu Malik in @IndiaMeToo & some were minors during the incident. No amount of money or fame is worth this. #MeToo.”

In another twit she slammed the makers of the show and sony tv, she wrote

“New York-based Danica D’Souza stated that Anu Malik’s violent behavior shoots Indian Idol and that ‘would be a common thing during the high-ups” were aware of it, but chose to turn a blind eye. (According to reports, this spoiler has been re-implemented by @sonytv?). “

However, to everyone’s surprise, Anu Malik is reportedly approached to be a judge on Indian Idol 11. He will be joining Vishal Dadlani and Neha Kakkar, expected to return as judges on the show, that.
