Odisha TET Syllabus for Paper 1 Paper 2: The Board for Secondary Education, Odisha is preparing to organize the “Teacher Eligibility Test 2019” in August 2019. The Exam will be held in two papers such as Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper 1 will be held for Primary Teacher Classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for Elementary Teacher (Classes 6 to 8).
In the CTET Examination, the question will be asked from Child Development & Pedagogy, Language-I, Odia/ Urdu/ Hindi/ Telugu / Bengali, Language-II (English), Mathematics and Environment Studies subjects. OTET Exam Pattern 2019- Odisha TET Paper 1 & Paper 2 Schedule
Students take a glance at the latest Odisha TET Pattern and OTET Exam structure. The paper-I will be held for Primary Teacher Level-I and paper-II will be organized for Upper Primary Teacher Level-II. In the first Paper, there will total 150 questions asked (30 questions in each section). The OTET Paper-1 will be of 150 marks. The second paper will also conduct for 150 marks but there will some optional subject. Section-A: Child Development and Pedagogy
Understanding Child Development during Childhood (focus on children at the primary level)-
- Concept, principles and stages of child development
- Characteristics of physical, cognitive, social, emotional and moral development in childhood
- Influence of heredity and environment in understanding the child
Understanding the Learning Process and Learners:
- Learning – concept, nature and individual differences in learning
- Understanding how child learns – learning through observation, limitation
- The understanding low child learns – various methods of learning
- Basic conditions of learning and promotion of learning through motivation, classroom learning environment and teacher behavior
- Development of creative thinking

Number System and Operation in Numbers: Number system (natural, whole, rational, real) Fundamental operation on numbers, Fractional numbers and decimals – operations in fractional numbers and, decimals Factors and multiples – NCF and LCM, Percentage and its application.
Measurement: Measurement of length, weight, capacity, Measurement of area and perimeter of rectangle and square, Measurement of time (the concept of am, pm and time interval).
