NTA NEET Result 2020- NEET UG Score Card, AIR, Merit list
The national testing agency is responsible to conduct of the entrance test, declaration of result and giving All India Rank to Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India for Counselling of 15% All India Quota Seats and all seats of Deemed Universities/Central Universities/ESIC & AFMC including Delhi University (DU), BHU & AMU.

Reservation for NEET 2020 Scorecard
Only candidates obtaining the minimum qualifying percentile will be considered eligible to qualify NEET 2020. The minimum NEET Cut off for General Category students is 50, while that for SC/ST/OBC aspirants it is 40 percentile. Based on NEET Cut off percentile, NEET Result 2020 will be released. On the basis of the NEET Score Card, the admission to 15% all India Quota seats, 85% state seats, 100% deemed and central University colleges, AYUSH courses and B.V.Sc courses across the country will be granted except for AIIMS and JIPMER institutes.
Therefore all candidates are waiting for the NTA NEET UG Result date. So the organization will be declared the NEET Rank list on 4th June 2020. The NEET Counselling process will be started after the result declaration.
How to Calculate NEET Score and AIR Rank
With the help of the NEET Answer key, candidates can calculate their expected scores and ranks. They can tally answers with those given in Answer key before NEET Result is declared. The marking scheme followed by NTA in NEET 2020 is given below-
- For Every Correct Answer, 4 Marks are rewarded
- For marking the wrong option, -1 is deducted as penalty
- No Mark is deducted for un-attempted questions and marking more than 1 option.
- Total marks = 180 MCQs * 4 = 720 marks
NEET Merit List 2020 State wise Rank List
Candidates should know that no category wise merit list is released; there will be only a centralized merit list for all the NEET qualified candidates. The NEET Merit list is prepared for Seats under 15% all India Quota. The number of candidates in the merit list would be equal to the number of seats available for allotment in MBBS/BDS courses under 15% All India Quota. Contenders will get admission in colleges or universities as per their position in the merit list. The rank list will be published through online mode.
Note- A list of the successful candidates in order of All India Rank based on the marks obtained in the national eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2020 will be prepared by the National Testing Agency.
