Directorate of Technical Education has released Kerala Polytechnic Diploma Admission Form and application form begins from 28th May 2019. So candidates who are waiting for this admission form they must check the complete notification for eligibility, application fee and how to applying instructions. First contenders will fill the Registration form with personal and a valid E-Mail and password. After that, they will able to submit Kerala Polytechnic Admission form with personal and academic details.

The Admission process to the Diploma courses 2019-20 in various polytechnic colleges/institutes of the state will be done through single Window Admission to Polytechnic Colleges. They must submit the Kerala Polytechnic Application form 2019 on or before 11th June 2019.

The Department of Technical Education is organizing the Kerala Polytechnic Counselling process for admission in various Polytechnic Diploma Courses in private and government colleges. Eligibility criteria Kerala Polytechnic Admission 2019

At the time of filing Kerala Polytechnic Application Form 2019, aspirants should have the following eligible conditions. They should apply only if meet all the eligibility norms for Polytechnic Admission Process.

Education qualification– Aspirant should have passed SSLC/THSLC or equivalent exam, with eligibility for higher studies. Candidates should have passed certificate with a combination of Science, mathematics, and English as a compulsory subject.

Age Limit- There is no age limit for Kerala Polytechnic Admission 2019.

Application Fee

The application fee shall be Rs. 150/-. (For Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates, it shall be Rs. 75/-.) It should be remitted along with the hard copy of the application at the Polytechnic College.

Candidates have to submit application form through online mode. They follow these given steps to fill the Application form for Kerala Polytechnic Admission:

Selection of the candidate is based on the grading in SSLC/THSLC or equivalent Examination. For the students who have passed qualifying examination under the old scheme (prior to Grading System), marks are to be converted to 9 point absolute grade.

Calculation of weighted grade point average and index

Stream I: The weighted Grade Point Average 1 (WGPA1) is the average of the sum of grade points of Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry multiplied by 0.7 and divided by the number of subjects in Mathematics, physics and chemistry.

Kerala Polytechnic merit list 2019

The Rank list will be prepared based on the index mark and the allotment list will be made on the basis of the rank, the option exercised and applicable reservation if any.

The rank list of Stream I programmes will be prepared on the basis of Index Score for Stream I calculated and the allotment will be done strictly on the basis of the rank list for these programmes.

The rank list of Stream II programmes will be prepared on the basis of Index Score for Stream 2 calculated and the allotment will be done strictly on the basis of the rank list for these programmes.

Polytechnic Counselling & Allotment Result

Along with the Publication of Provisional Rank list, a trial allotment will be published. The candidate can check the trial allotment from website to get an idea about the chances of getting allotment to a programme and college based on options exercised in the application form and the rank of the candidate.

Final Rank list and First Allotment

After the time allotted for re-option, final rank list and first allotment list will be published on the website. Candidates are required to go through the rank list. They can check their rank by candidate login.
