IIT JEE Main Result 2020- NTA  JEE Mains Rank Card, JEE Main AIR List 

The NTA is conducting JEE Entrance Exam twice in a year i.e. First Attempt Join Entrance Exam (Main) and Second Attempt(Advance). For the first time, the JEE Main exam of paper-2 (B.Arch/B.Planning) was organized two times in CBT mode, in this year. The first exam was held on 8th January 2020 in two shifts and the second JEE (Main) Exam for Paper-2 was conducted on 7th April 2020.

How to download IIT JEE Main Result 2020

  • Open the official website www.jeemain.nic.in.
  • Click on the notification link “JEE Main Result 2020” in the notification section.
  • Login to the result page with your login details.
  • Submit the login details.
  • After that, you can see the scorecard of your IIT JEE Main 2020.
  • Click on Download option to download the card, if you want so you can take a print out for further use.

Marking Scheme of JEE Main 2020

Candidates will already calculate their probable exam score using JEE Main Answer key and also submit responses against answer sheet.

  • For every correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 4 marks
  • In case of incorrect attempt, 1 mark will be deducted
  • Using the OMR sheets, the candidate will be able to calculate the total number of correct and incorrect attempts. Next calculate the total positive and negative marks. The total score can be found by deducting the total negative marks from the total positive marks.

Total positive marks = (Total correct attempts) x 4

Total negative marks = (Total incorrect attempts) x 1

Total JEE Main Score = Total positive marks – Total negative marks

JEE Main Cutoff Marks 2020

The cutoff is minimum passing marks obtained by the candidates for qualifying the exam. If they secure these passing marks then their name will be in JEE Main Rank List other wise they will be disqualified. cutoff of JEE Main is prepared based on factors like number of applicants, availability of seats, and also past trends.
