IIM CAT Syllabus 2019- CAT Topics wise syllabus for VARC, DI&LR, QA Sections:

Indian Institutes of Management will organize the CAT 2019 on 25th November 2019 (Sunday) in two sessions. The CAT Entrance Exam will be organized in test centers spread across 147 cities. There will three sections in which questions will be asked such as Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DI & LR) and Quantitative Ability (QA).

We advised aspirants that they must revise all topics from the above three sections. They can join CAT online test series, mock Test and solve CAT previous year questions papers and try to solve paper in 3 hours. Using this method, applicants can solve paper in given time and improve performance /speed. You must divide each section in 1 hour and try to solve the complete section in this time period.

CAT Exam Pattern 2019- Section Wise Marking Scheme:

In this article, we are giving CAT Exam Syllabus and pattern. The CAT question paper will carry 100 questions of objective type multiple choices. These questions divided into three sections like Verbal & Reading Comprehension (VARC) – 34, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR)- 32 and Quantitative Ability (QA)- 34.

All the sections carry both multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Non-MCQs (Subjective Questions). 3 marks allotted for each correct answer and -1 mark deducted for an incorrect answer Each Section is allotted 60 minutes – with the total time for the Exam being 180 minutes. There will be three sections:

Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)

Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)

Section III: Quantitative Ability (QA)

IIM CAT Exam Syllabus 2019 Section Wise: 

CAT Syllabus 2019 for DILR section in CAT 2019 is divided into two parts i.e. Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning. The 1st part of CAT 2019 syllabus covers questions based on Data Interpretation (DI) and the 2nd part of CAT 2019 exam syllabus on DILR is based on questions on different topics on Logical Reasoning. VARC section in CAT 2019 is divided into 2 parts. The 1st part of CAT 2019 syllabus covers questions based on Reading Comprehension passages and the 2nd part of CAT 2019 exam syllabus on VARC is based on questions on different topics on Verbal Ability.
