CAT Application Form 2019, IIM CAT Notification:

Indian Institutes of Management will conduct computer Based Common Admission Test 2019 on tentative 24th November 2019 in two sessions. Eligibility Criteria for CAT 2019 Application Form

First candidates check CAT Eligibility to fill CAT Application form in the right manner. The Eligibility should be citizens, Age, and qualification.

Education Qualification:

The aspirant must hold a Bachelors’ Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of the candidates belonging to SC/ST and PwD categories)

Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s Degree /equivalent qualification exam and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.

Aspirants applying for CAT 2019 Registration should fulfill any one of the following conditions-

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree with required percentage of Marks
  • Completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA) with required percentage
  • Should be in the final year of Bachelors degree with the required percentage.

CAT 2019 Admission Process

Students must note that each IIM shortlists candidates for the second stage of selection which may be independent of each other. The process may include Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). Performance in CAT 2019 Exam is an important component in the admission process. IIMs may additionally use other factors like the previous academic performance of the students, relevant work experience and other similar inputs in shortlisting and ranking of the candidate at various stages of the admission process.

CAT Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The Common Admission Test will be held in online mode. The paper shall contain questions from three sections namely Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. The Department allotted the 1 hour time for each section. The exam will be for 300 marks. There are two types of questions in the test: MCQ and Non-MCQ where the aspirants have to write the answer in the space given.
